Screaming Heads is a true masterpiece in the heart of Ontario. Located in Burk's Falls, it offers more than just a leisurely walk along its trails—you can also take time to enjoy the nearby falls.
What could easily be a two-day adventure can also make for an unforgettable day trip. Across 310 acres, larger-than-life heads and hands rise from the ground, creating a wonderfully surreal landscape. As you explore, you may even hear some “screaming”—though it is likely the many birds wandering about! Keep an eye out for beautiful peacocks, peahens, and geese.
It truly transports you to a different world filled with fun and excitement. And don’t miss the castle and its dragon! It was a huge hit with all of us. Somehow, we missed it on the way in, which made discovering it on the way out an even better surprise.
The vision of Peter Camani, a Canadian artist and retired art teacher, has truly come to life here. I honestly cannot believe I lived in Ontario for 56 years without ever seeing this incredible place.
